Failurl. Also, it's because Sepultura was for some time groove. They went from death to thrash to groove. I only heard groove though. Thrash doesn't interest me and death I prefer to not be pure.

Why dislike Meshuggah? The most common complaint is that their songs sound the same, while really, you have to just understand the complicated rhythms. However you seem like a person who could appreciate a complicated technical riff. Also, those fucking solos.

Edit: I'm surprised that ~2 pages can hold so much concentrated awesome. If someone posts more metal, this thread will probably reach critical mass.

I disliked them because the songs I heard from them seemed to simply be composed of "RUUUUAAGGH! *chugchugchugchugchugchugchug* OARGH! *chugchug chugchugchug* ARRRGH!". Anyway, I now realise that not all of their songs sound like that.

Edit; Am I the only one who doesn't like video game music? Except from HL2 soundtrack. Damn that's good.

Edit: I love how this thread is now about me and AoD posting metal and Siquo occasionally dropping in to comment, while others don't post their pop/techno/whatever stuff because they'd feel off-topic.
