While we are into post rock bands, how about the first song I ever listened to that could count as one. It is very debatable, partly because the lyrics play such a large part. Strange band is... Strange?

So I built this playlist quickly that I have been listening to, composed mostly of mogwai and motion city soundtrack, the end result is just weird on my emotional psyche. Fun times, try it for yourself, the nostalgia for something that never happened, but you want it to have, is over whelming.

I've been listening to and learning Cake's Shadow Stabbing.

I've also been listening to this a good deal. I like it a lot. It's the European Jazz Trio's rendition of the traditional Japanese song Tsubasa wo Kudasai. I'm probably going to buy the album if the other tracks are anywhere as good.

I don't feel very hardcore compared to you guys.
