"When he died, they found so many scorpions inside his lungs
When he died, the statues of his missing children cried, what was later found to be his blood"

Bought the album Spirit Phone by Lemon Demon, it's really good, funny music. A lot of the lyrics are dark, but the music is all happy. Just good music.

Matt Smith - Storm's A-Comin'

Matt Smith is one of my favourite artists. I like this, but it's... not his usual style.

Theocracy - Wishing Well

This, on the other hand, is.

Edit:

And something completely different:

Hugh Masekela - Stimela

You don't have to speak the language to understand this song, don't worry. It's as much about the mood as anything else.
I didn't listen to the Theocracy one at first because I assumed it was some sort of pansy Christian metal.

Edit: Hold on.... I think it fooled me into thinking it wasn't Christian. What is this sorcery?!?!?!

Vitamin String Quartet is fucking gold.
They allow me to still listen to certain songs that I don't really like anymore due to personal reasons.

Another awesome one from VSQ. I especially like the harmony parts. And the part at 0:33. And 0:36. And 0:43. Never mind, I like every single bit of it.

You haven't really heard a song until you've blasted it into your eardrums at maximum power via earbuds. As such, I applied that concept to VSQ, and now I like them even more. Of course, I'm now dizzy and half-deaf, but that was worth it. Would recommend to anybody who doesn't need their hearing for the next few hours.

Anyway, I decided I'll write a script that will grab all the Youtube links from this thread and maybe compile a playlist if I can figure out the Youtube API. Because, I mean, there's 287 pages of great music here, that's gotta be something.
Plus, if there's metadata, we could see what artist is posted most often here and other stuff like that.

You people probs thought I was some sorta flunky

but no

I get shit done. patsan said, patsan did.
Here's a playlist of every youtube video that has ever been posted in this thread, (except the ones that have been removed and duplicates).

If you for whatever reason want the source code, you can PM me for it.

Hoolee shit dude.

Do you have to, like, run it every time a new thing gets posted for it to stay complete though?

Yeah, it doesn't, like, update or anything. I mean, I could make it do that, but I dunno if I'm feeling motivated enough to do that.
