The world has passed into The Age of Legends.

I got this message a little earlier as I was fast traveling.

Anyone else ever gotten this? From what I understand, ages are delimited by how many megabeasts have been killed so I'm guessing this happened because I've killed some percentage of the megabeasts.

Sounds like one died while you were travelling.  Either a cave-in got a Forgotten beast, or some mega you thought you killed already just died from infection.

I had this happen to me recently, while my adventurer was sleeping. Check the date--for me, the world passed into the Age of Legends between the 28th of Obsidian and the 1st of Granite. This was a few days after I had killed a Roc.

Unfortunately I didn't take note of what date it happened. I guess I should be able to find out if I retire the character and go into legends mode?

I'm pretty sure the new age starts with the new year. I had an adventurer move the world into the Age of Legends and then the Age of Heroes, and both times it changed at the start of the year.
