It kind of IS my first mafia game, kind of isn't, and isn't stange you havn't seen me around, I don't post a lot.
I'm been starting to play mafia by volunteering as a replacement.

I don't really have A strategy, I'm just going to poke people, and see what comes up, and then I'll have to play it by ear.
My short-term goal is to survive, mostly to satisfy my Metagame goal of becoming better at this.
My long term goal is to win.

I don't have a lot of 'on hand' experience, so I would probably behave a bit random, ability vise.
People would suspect me, but find that it was just because I'm not to well versed in these kind of games, and would ignore it.

You're saying that you would be best at bad roles just because you're new? Maybe. If you didn't know, Finger of Suspicion (FOS) is what it says on the can. (This is not it to you however)

My point was that since i havn't played before, the: "what are his town/scum/3rd party tell?" doesn't exist yet, and my prediction is, that I will either be murdered early, or live to the end.

"must be a copy error"
"maybe there are two dragons"
"maybe they work like twins"

Akhier: normally I wouldn't try to read too much into two identical rolenames, but you're awfully defensive about it.  Why do you care about someone pairing you with the obvious role name choice?

My first guess about the paired roles would be some form of sibling with second guess being masons, likely with no alignment guarantee.  (This isn't a question.)

I think it's better for scum, they know who they are, so they can get an idea of what they're up against. For town, they only know their own roles, so they can only guess at the scum's roles.
