What am I doing wrong here?

I can't seem to get them to train anything I catch in the cages. Is there an updated list of things I can train without changing their tags?

Well there's the animal trainer page on the wiki, not sure how up to date it is though.

Just to make sure, are you using the kennel and going to tame animal, think the command is m.  You could just add tags to the animal raws to make them trainable, tags are on the kennel page.

I think the issue was that the animal was exotic, which is strange to me. I can easily train a grizzly, but not a monkey?

Actually, grizzlies are easier to train than monkeys. Why are people always so confused about that
