Hello fellow dwarves! I am going to make 1 squad of super soldiers with a Danger Room, and I would like to know what type of adamantine weapon to use. 10 super-dwarves versus a siege of 50+ hostiles=epic fight.

Moving along, which kind of weapon would be best to defend my fort? I'm open for suggestions  (adamantine)

My vote is for axes.

Axe. Hammer. Spear.

Pick one, or make three-dwarf squads with one of each.

Candy is too light to make proper hammers, though, so make it out of something like silver if you go that route.

I'd go with adamantine axes for half the squad, and swords and spears for the rest. Axes are the best weapons dwarves have if I remember right, swords are just so nice to have and they work pretty well and spears are fun because of their piercing power.

Or you could just make it a big group of axe-wielders. They'll kill the enemy dead regardless what weapons you make 'em out of adamantine. No blunt weapons of course. Hammers and maces. Don't work well.

Axes, swords, spears, mining picks. -picks are a cross between spears and axes realy-

use silver for hammers, and copper for sheilds.

What? Copper for shields? I understand that sometimes dwarves bash with copper shields, but adamantine is better for shields because shields are generally meant to shield the user. Adamantine still blocks like no other.

The material of the shield has very little to do with its blocking abilities, its weight doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, and denser materials are actually better for shields in the off-chance their owners bash their enemies with it.
