Actually, no. I don't think I'm allowed a Planar Shift spell, which just leaves me with moving it next to my location. Your lives aren't really worth that to me. (EDIT: Okay, so your lives just aren't worth the points. Unless you get me lots of MacGuffins. Get me lots of MacGuffins.)

10 base HP. Each extra costs 1 point.
1d6 base attack.
1d6 base defense.
+1 to any one skill, including <WEAPON>, <DEFENSE>, <MAGIC>, etc for 2 point.
+2 to any one skill for 5 points total. (2+3)
+3 to any one skill for 10 points total. (2+3+5)
Minor special ability (Poison attack, Walk-sticking etc) for 2 points.
Moderate special ability (Flight, Dragon breath, etc) for 5 points.
Powerful special ability (Planar teleport, Standard teleport, Shapeshifting, etc) for 10 points.

Edit: +1 and +2 skills made more expensive, as +1 defense for 1 point isn't balanced.

Alright, I really can't decide between these two settings. Help me out here.

Option 1

The players are freelance mercs/agents tasked with locating the MacGuffin by an anonymous employer. It's set in a tropical south american-esque city and the surrounding area, with plenty of PMC's, rogue cells of intelligence agencies, government troops and more after our heroes. Plenty of exciting car chases, infiltrating secret bases, hacking databases, suave rival operatives and heroic shootouts guaranteed. No magic or psychic powers here, I'm afraid, and just bland old humans available (the races will just be different types of agents).

Option 2

The players are your typical famous heroes/adventurers, who are called to help by one of the several rebel movements active in the city-state of Layosha. The city is ruled by an oppressive regime with a remarkably effective secret police. So effective, actually, that they have incited all the secret societies, resistance movements and factions to fight against eachother instead of the government. They have all found out about the MacGuffin and are convinced it will bring victory to their side. The secret police is just waiting for someone to discover it so their undercover agents can snatch it away for them.
The world is a steampunk/fantasy one, with magic and machines side by side.

You are not going to dodge a bullet in my world unless you are using magic, or there is an obvious reason how you could dodge a bullet. That said I already have a raced worked out, and its the only one it is Humans ( + 2 Hp, Lesser Radiation Resistance ), and thats it I already described my world.

It doesn't have to be dodging if we're using the simple combat system of (Attack - Defense = Damage). The attacker could just miss.

Operatives are men and women who have received full agency training, and are trained in a wide variety of tasks and skills. They have no specialization, but are flexible and more than adequate in any situation.

+1 Accuracy - 1pts
+1 Persuasion - 1pts
+1 Agility - 1pts
+1 Intelligence (This is gonna give non-combat bonuses, 'cos I have no magic) - 1pts
+1 Strenght - 1pt
Medium Special Ability: Firestorm (Operatives can increase the damage of their guns by 1d12 for 1d5 turns) - 5pts

Commandoes are agents obsessed with guns and combat, eschewing the espionage-side of their job in favor of a violent approach to life's problems.

+1 Accuracy - 1pts
+2 Strenght - 4pts
Moderate Special Ability: Immunity (Commandoes can overdose on painkillers, ignoring all damage for 1d5 turns.) - 5pts

Specialists are those who gather information, hack security, provide intel and infiltrate enemy organizations. They are rarely deployed on the field, but sometimes the situation requires it. What they lack in combat training they make up in intelligence and skills.

+2 Intelligence - 4pts
+2 Persuasion - 4pts
Minor Special Ability: Aimed Shot (Specialists can fire a shot that always hits the target.)

I'm not really satisfied with any of these, but oh well. I'll PM this together with the description to you.
