Surgeon: "So I can come into my room then?"

The surgeon's room is small and dark, even with its two narrow windows open. A great, blood-stained table dominates the centre of the room. The table is ancient, and made of oak. Around the table are several cupboards, all of them in different styles of woodworking. The cupboards stores the surgeon's implements, herbs and bottles of medicine. The bottles are either empty, or filled with a residue of their former contents. The few herbs are dried and several are swivelled or covered in mold. An empty brazier filled with ashes lies in a corner of the room, and in the opposite corner of the room is an iron-bound chest. The chest holds the various outfits needed for the surgeon's craft.
