The new items in craftspony shops (crupper, peytral) are armor?
And how are the new "plants" (worms etc) used exactly?
Sorry for the dumb question, I'm new :/ Actually, this mod made me start paying DF.
Yes, the peytrals are essentially breast plates(upper/fore body armour) and the cruppers protect the rear half of the body, though you'll still need leggings, greaves and chanfrons(helmets). As for using the worms, you'll need to process them to bags at a farmers workshop, then you can cook them. If you haven't got bags, you can use wool from sheep, alpacas or llamas, pig tail or rope reed, or some kind of silk. These can be made into thread at a farmers workshop(wool and plant) or loom(for silk) and then made into bags at a clothiers workshop.
Heard a lot of people saying they're getting into DF because of this mod, it's always great to hear. Just remember, this isn't a user friendly game, it's a control friendly game. Just keep banging your head against it until it starts making sense and you'll be able to do amazing things with it.
