It's basically about "what if the situation were reversed and the US was in the middle of the revolt and all the other countries of the world took pity on it like it normally does them."

I believe lines like that are airing honest grievances and are meant to be taken literally. The whole idea behind the video is, very nearly explicitly, that America isn't any more free than Egypt, Tunisia, Bahrain, or Libya. While it may not be calling for an armed revolt it does seem to be calling for a revolt.
