That said, considering that the malfunctioning device actually can take away your role, that's just a useless observation.

Just to let you know, I lied about my role, I'm actually a Malfunctioning inventor PGO greater tracker, and Toaster, I should have given you a device to use last night.

It was an inspect, but it failed and removed my role.

I assume the track-on-inspect still reported- BD must have done nothing since it specifically failed.

This made me really curious while I was dead, so I shot some questions off at WA via PM on the nature of devices...

He told me that 'fails' on devices don't do anything other than a standard failure, or atleast that's how I interpreted it, so unless there's another clarification to ease my suspicion, Toaster is lying scum.

Also, on the odd chance that I'm wrong, I would like to know two things you conveniently left out Toaster: the exact name of the device, and who you targeted.

Combined Banshee PGO. I can wail at someone and roleblock them. If I wail at the same person twice, they die. I only kill people targeting me if I wail, if not, I won't kill someone who targets me.

Did you specifically choose vigilante for your role? Just curious.

I would like to think that BD's towniness is mostly validated at this point, since there's two separate players saying that they got failures on him, and him saying that he !noned anyway, AND there's no one else claiming the kill on me, so BD did the right thing by doing nothing. Which he should continue to do now and forever.

Oh, and yes, I did choose vigilante for my role. I figured it was my best shot at winning when I'm eventually Mafia, while still being useful while I'm town.

I tried to inspect Pandar, and it didn't have a name, other than 1-use inspect.

And I can't explain the role removal, unless someone else did it.  My result was basically inspect failed.  You have lost your abilities.  Correlation implying causation, and all that.
