i've played it briefly, the heavy customization is nice, but the maps and matches available seem a little too generic. Gonna have to wait to see what else they add before i make up my mind.

It is a small world...

I just met one of the guys from the WH yesterday at another place, an incursion channel. Not the one we blew up, but another one, that logged off earlier. We talked a bit, about the kill, about other stuff, and WHs in general.
I mentioned that some of us might want to live in a WH, and he offered that we can get into theirs as well. He is not CEO, but he'll tell his CEO about the offer. We would coexist and also give protection to each other.
It would of course also mean a PoS in the WH, and that again would maybe make a PoS in highsec superfluous.
This is just an idea, but we are both small corps. Some WH survival classes would be in order then I guess.
Just something to think about.

And we don't know that is is not a trap. Though I don't think it is. They are not a PvP corp, basically all their kills are in their homesystem, and there are not that many either:

They are supposedly a small corp of RL friends from Britain with a relatively low activity. I'd fly in incursion fleets with Ivan anytime. If you want a WH, i think it is worth the try, because good luck finding a C1 or C2 without a corp in it. And we have neither the means to evict someone, nor the money to pay someone else to do it.

Sounds better than a PoS in highsec for me, but I am not sure the people who wanted to do heavy industry would like that.

I would be interested in joining a more active group in general. Who are they and what are the details?

Long story short: We live in wormholes. That's our forum/auth system for Jabber and Mumble. You can just browse the public areas of the forum without making an account.

What are the pros and cons of living in a WH? I assume C2-C3 would be ideal for us because it has static link to highsec?

So we get to mine ores normally not found outside WH and we get to kill WH rats, what else?

Living in a C3 that was going through a dry spell (Very few sites spawning, never a mining site in the month I was in there) brought in 600 million a week, which was then split 3 ways. And that was without ever going into the neighbouring wormholes to do the sites in there, too. Doing those C3 sites did require a T3 cruiser, though.

It'll be great money, assuming you find a nice empty one with plenty of sites spawning. In addition, WH planets are great for PI. Cons are that you'll need to scan down the Wormhole again whenever it disappears, and that wormhole space is completely lawless, so you you may find yourself in a war with someone else who wants the WH
