   Oh how the mighty have fallen. Once the mafia controlled your great city but not they are but a shadow of their former selves. With their Boss killed years back the mafia died but they have once again gathered strength. They want their city back and its your job to stop them.

Rules:
    1. All votes must be in red.  Unvoting before voting again is not required, but appreciated.  You may vote for No Lynch.  In case of a tie, no one will be lynched.
    2. Days are 72 hours while Nights are 24 hours.  Neither time span includes weekends, though we may end weekend-spanning nights after 24 hours if all night actions are in.  Unless otherwise stated, days and nights end at a time to be decided.
    3. Never edit your posts for any reason, including typos.
    4. Do not PM other players.  Players with private chat access will be given a place to discuss freely.
    5. Never quote any PM from the mods (TolyK and me).  You may give a general summary (for example, a roleclaim), but do not quote directly.
    6. Please put our names in bold if you would like to get our attention.
    7. You may ask for an extension or shorten by putting the respective word in green.  Extensions require 33% of players to agree minus any players opposing, and are for 24 hours.  Shortens require at least 51% of players to agree, and will end the day as soon as I can process the day end.
    8. Dead players may post one “bah post” to comment on their death, but it may not contain any relevant game information.  After that, dead men tell no tales, so please do not post.
    9. Please make an effort to post at least once daily.  If you do not post for 36 hours, you will be prodded. Second time is by email. If I don’t hear from you within 24 more hours, you will be replaced.  If you think someone needs a prod, please bring it to our attention- I can’t guarantee we will notice everyone who is not posting.
   10. Never underestimate your importance, and always play to win!
   11. All roles can go to anyone with no affiliation restrictions.
   12. When you die your role is revealed but not your affiliation.

Possible Roles:
   Doctor - Doctor
   Serial Killer/Vigilante - both flip Serial Killer, the difference is that Vigilante wins with town and Serial Killer wins with Mafia
   Bodyguard - Blocker
   Blackmailer - Redirector

How does this work? Yes, many people do have an email address enabled for the forum (probably most even), but not everyone.

The email bit was the problem. It wouldn't be a problem for me in particular because all PMs go directly to my email anyways, but just in case someone didn't.

Seems like a neat idea. I'll consider signing up in a week or so (if it hasn't filled by then). I don't have stable internet access at the moment and already am in one game.

I'm debating on weather or not to start with this game or to wait for the next available BM, I've read over a few old mafia/werewolf (Different forum, don't ask) games and I think I'm ready to at least try and fail at one.

   If you feel you know the game I wont dissuade you
and this may be fun seeing as it has more roles then
a BM. If you feel like you need a trial game to get
into it then go and ask on the games threshold thread
and ask about the next begging because it seems
that someone is going to be doing it soon and more
of a  waiting to see who volunteers to do it type of
thing so some one new asking might spur it into reality.

Have you read through some of the games from this forum?  You can find them in the Notable Games Archive.  I highly recommend that, because we play a very different game here than I've seen in most places.

Once you've done that, I'd recommend signing up here.  This is a game very close to a BM, I doubt the next BM will flash-fill or start especially soon (we have some kinks to work out with the IC system), and it'd really be nice to get this game on the road to functionality.  I'd also like to give these two mods a chance at working things out.
