Based on ank's thread, I decided to pick up Call of Juarez: Gunslinger for $10. I'm sure it will probably get cheaper in the coming days, but eh. At this point $5 isn't a huge deal to me. That's probably just my compulsive game shopper talking, I'm sure.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

It's one of those MOBA games like League of Legends or something, where you try to take over spots on the map with your team while killing the enemy team and blowing up their base.

Its not just space dota, it has some permanent progression system and ship management, and the game play its a little more involved perhaps, you need to aim your weapons independently of where/how you are moving, point the boardside to your enemy, etc. Mechanically its more of a naval combat thing, while on paper its good no one was playing the game last time i checked, wich leads to super long matchmaking, always playing with the same people, etc. I dont want to give the wrong impression, im not recomending it and i do play dota, this is basically dead.

I am confused.... the Civ 5 god and kings expansion is on sale for 50% fro 14.99

But the gold upgrade pack says it includes the expansion, plus a TON of other stuff, which is also 50% off, but only.... 10 dollars?

Am I reading this wrong or is the gold edition upgrade an absurdly good deal?

Yeah, that happens sometimes.

It's awesome.

Bought Hotline Miami. Also thinking of buying Scribblenauts Unlimited and Don't Starve.

Anyone got any thoughts on those two games?

Scribblenauts relies heavily on taste but most people seem to like it. Do not expect any challenge in the game and the jokes in the game isn't that funny, and it gets boring fast. This is for me at least.

Hotline Miami is a short, hot dose of fun, violence and mystery. It's simple, completely action oriented, and comes with what I found was a pretty engaging story. You won't get more than probably 15 hours out of it tops, but it's fun ride because the action is so immediate and fast, the violence is over the top and the music....well, to me the music is perhaps the best part of the game, for how well it captures all the game's themes; the 80s, madness and relentless violence.

For $2.49, I wouldn't pass up on it. You can't even buy a cheeseburger for $2.49 most places.

I'll second pretty much all of this.

I've yet to play it personally, but I've heard Don't Starve is incredibly atmospheric despite the art style.

Same here. I didn't even think I'd like Hotline Miami, but after playing it I'd say it's one of the best games in my library.
