Random news article is random, but not unwelcome in such frivolous company.

Balrog is that cool of a character. At least... I thought his name was Balrog. I haven't played that game in a while.

I love how, you open the game at war with hyborem, and about three hours later get around to building an assault force.

Also, soli, you need more cities. Some of that desert is perfectly viable.

It is a fun word to say sometimes.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

I said Huzzah long before I knew about Balrog. It's actually the official name of the Final Fantasy Victory Tune, and it's about 307% funner to say than "Yay" or "Hurray".

Get HIB 3, play Hammerfight. Much smashy fun, and it might be interesting to watch on the stream if other people agree.

Reminds me of Final Fantasy A+, the little song the fighter sings is the best part of it, that, and the white mage's spells.

Re: Serious Frivolity (Livestream): The Adventures of Mark Twain

After I get my stuff taken care of, I'm inclined to stream a movie. There's an interesting claymation I've been meaning to watch, called "The Adventures of Mark Twain", wherein the author takes a flying boat to Haley's Comet alongside several of his literary characters. Among other things, there's a rather famous scene involving one of the most interesting depictions of Satan I've seen, taken from The Mysterious Stranger.

Would folks be inclined to give it a watch with me tonight? If so, it'll probably be in roughly 6-8 hours.

Alright, in a few minutes, we'll be going live with The Adventures of Mark Twain. I might be in and out, so odds are there will be a rerun this Sunday night as well.

There is a small, but distinct possibility that I may be streaming some bits from my Brother's Bachelor's/LAN party this evening! He get's the final word on it, but it might be fun!
