Hellz yeah! I use the occasional TvTropes link over in mafia to keep the heat off me. Other than that, it makes for a great way to convey the point of the joke without ruining it.

Alright, Roll 1!

Nathaniel 'Hawk' Hawkins-1-Stopping at the intersection, Hawk takes notice of the state of the town. The buildings are old and broken, and the inhabitants seemed poor enough.
"Maybe we should help---"
"Let's get jobs!" interrupts Sir Fiddle.

Spoiler: Status (click to show/hide)

Porin Keeperechoes-1-As he trudges past and notices the sign, Porin reads it and, annoyed by the rain, says, "Porin thinks everyone should go to castle, talk to king. Maybe get big quest to kill terrible beastie. Have fun, get monies, maybe feast for heroes if lucky,"
Spoiler: Status (click to show/hide)

Ivan 'Sir Fiddle' Fiddlebottom-2-"Okay i will head with you."
While Porin and the others make their way to the castle, Ivan decides to follow Zrk and help him out. Suddenly, Bjorn casts a shield on himself.
Spoiler: Status (click to show/hide)

Bjorn Inmus-6-Bjorn starts to follow Porin. Annoyed by the rain, he decides to shield himself to keep out the rain. However, he fails to realize that the shield does not dry him out. Thus, still wet, he realizes that he needs to destroy the shield to get rid of the water.
"Hold on guys, stand back!"
Bjorn immediately surrounds himself in flames to destroy the shield.
"Aye, that's better. I'm not wet anymore!"
What he fails to realize until moments after is that he is on fire, which is why he isn't getting wet.
Spoiler: Status (click to show/hide)

Taric 'Madman' Cogudib-5-"Alright, the bugger has a point"
Taric experty begins following Porin.
Spoiler: Status (click to show/hide)

Tarran Terra-4-"Alright, good idea, Porin, Lead the way."
...
Alongside Porin and Taric, with Cogs following behind, Tarran arrives at the castle. He signals for the guard to open the gates, and as they enter, the four notice the extravagant displays of wealth. Whoever lives here is probably going to pay a lot more than anyone back at the town. They could all get killed trying, though.
Spoiler: Status (click to show/hide)

Nihilius 'Cogs' Vekt-6-"Excellent idea, Porin. Especially seeing as I'm a little strapped for cash at the moment"
...
In the future, Cogs follows the other three into the castle, and looks for a possible job. Though his suit covers most of his mechanical parts, his bionic eye is still easily noticed. Deciding to talk to a guard instead, he locates the stair-case that leads to one of the turrets. Maybe someone up there has a quest of sorts to offer.
Spoiler: Status (click to show/hide)

'Zrk'-1-Zrk looks waits at the gate for a caravan to arrive. Picking out one of the wealthier ones, he goes up and asks the merchant if he could be of any assistance, stating his list of previous contracts.
The chief responds, "I see that you have a lot of experience. However, I have no need of any escorts. I plan to end my journey here and start a shoemaking business. Thank you for the offer, though."

May I request you spoil our statuses next turn? The current way is... kinda ugly.

It (5) Slits another throat, (Three 6's in a row!) decapitates three more (!), (4) slices open the last guard's arm, and (2) narrowly misses a random bystander. It then flies back into your hand. Holy crap.

"Must find king," Porin muttered, looking around the castle. He put his shield back over his shoulder with his sword and hurried to keep up with Tarran; any work worth doing here would come from the big cheese himself. Cheese... He shook off the momentary distraction of delicious dairy products and looked around. The urge to steal something, anything, was in his genes, and it was very hard to resist with such priceless tapestries and decorations around. No, no... Porin must wait. Steal small stuff on way out, fence, make tidy profit. Yes. "Is good," he said when Tarran mentioned luxury. "Money to spare for us, maybe?"
