Unseen by anyone else, four of the pods open. Out from the pods step the forerunners of each Small race, and quickly each pick a home.

Four of the pods lay undisturbed and undiscovered, awaiting a time when they would be opened from within and give rise to new life.

Skreeblikis Alpha tries to move his pod under the sofa in the den, to get out of the harsh light.

You attempt to dig into the wall, but there's a rock-like substance in the way. It feels thin, but your claws scrape off of it without doing any damage, and so you abandon that plan.

You see another pod nearby, and from it's position you suspect that the occupants are under the desk. You head under the desk yourself and set up a camp, hoping to meet you neighbors soon.
Survey the sofa and build our first settlement.
The sofa rises up beyond your comprhension, soaring high into the skies. There's no way you could ever get up there without wings!

However, the underside is quite comfy. There's plenty of this odd, stringy sunbstance to weave buildings out of, and you do so, making a small village by one of the legs, made of this strange hanging, grey stuff you found. You make sure to keep out of sight; you don't know what sort of predators there may be about!

Could I get in?

Another pod hisses open, revealing a insectoid species. They clamber onto the soft, pink colord grassland. the grass comes in strange loops and is very hard to pull out of the ground. It rises almost to your heads, but it is navigable. Now, to find somewhere to found a colony!

(Note: Smalls do not have to eat, although obtaining extra food can be used as a stored population boost. Food is also a tradable good!)

Skreeblikis Alpha moved tires to move his pod under the sofa in the den, to get out of the harsh light.
There is no sofa here, but there is a desk that looks sort of like one, if you tilt your head and squint. There's something very large on top of the desk, something that hums and jitters. Beside it is a massive light, like a second sun. It casts a harsh light around the den, and, seeking refuge, you move under the desk.

There are many abandoned spiders webs here, and you take advantage of them, quickly weaving shelters out of the empty strands. You notice one or two living spiders staring at you as you go about your business, but they don't look like they think you're prey. Competition, perhaps? You'll have to work around these beings for a while, until you can do something.

Worker Skreeblikians attempt to find food, before digging into the ground to make spawning pits for more Skreeblikians.

You stand at the edge of the couch. Above you four suns burn brightly, not moving in the least. They are wreathed in some sort of yellow metal, the likes of which you've never seen. To wreath the sun, you guess it must be quite valuable.

The featureless white grasslands extend almost for as far as the eye can see. Next to the couch is a short table, upon it's unscalable hieghts stands a porcelain Monolith. A ornate loop extends from the Monolith, as if a massive handle for some Titan to hold it. Several colored plains marr the otherwise blank wooden surface, making large but not unscalable hillsides. You wonder what creature made them, and why.

There is a mammoth construction to the east, extending far beyond your couch. Your head hurts simply looking upon it's four-legged, many-armed splendor. Smoking wreckage, another pod from your ship, lays at it's feet. Did this thing destroy the pod? What is this then, this beast of many arms who so loves destruction? Perhaps more of your brethern? Or something different...

There are many large slabs of wood marking the walls. Imbedded, far above the pale plains, brassy balls are attached and imbedded in the slabs of wood. Another mystery...

Use the spider webs to make a settelment in the corner use the wall, and leg to help make a wall.
You begin to weave a wall, fearful of a attack on your people. You run out of webs, however, and find that you can only encircle one quarter of your town. Your people begin to call this place "The Keep", due to the fact that it Keeps your people safe.

Find something to stash the pod under, to keep it away from predators.
Your pod is far to heavy for you to move!

It's hard. It's hard being less than a millimeter tall. It's hard and nobody understands.

Worker Skreeblikians attempt to find food, before digging into the ground to make spawning pits for more Skreeblikians.
You search, but can find no food. No matter, your Breeding Pits will provide a steady increase of people, so long as you keep them from harm.

EVENT WARNING: You hear something large and loud. The ground trembles slightly, throwing your people into the air! What sort of beast is this?

Survey surroundings.
Look for soft, dark place to build nest.
