The monk sneezes, Splattering the other side of the booth he is sitting in with sickly green snot and saliva.

The phlegm is do to with the cold he has acquired due to the one sided match his had with the cobblestone,
However the Latter is due to the fact that he is STARVING!

He eyes a crumble of a crumble left from the crumpets...
So tempting...
And damning.

Also, Book, you may find that you're simply insane rather than having actual Alien tech. This is a medieval town, and is far before any of the results of the Paranormal games (even if it's the same world). But I suppose we'll see when I get your role set up. I suppose you could be some sort of planar traveler or some such.

Osiris looked on in interest at the interactions going on around him. He was quite enthralled to watch the interactions going on around him, without actually taking part in it himself. It was a part of his quest to find Toaster: he simply watched and gathered information, answered questions enough to keep people off his back. That was the way he did things. Simply speaking to everyone that walked up seemed too...uncouth, too random.

He straightened his suit a bit, tightening his goldenrod tie and shifting to adjust his matching cape. He ran a hand through his short, spiky black hair before folding his hands on the table. He wore a pair of black gloves that had strange runes inscribed on their backs - the source of his magical ability.

It was possible that he would begin to speak to some of the other villagers soon, but for now...he preferred to stay quiet and watch.

   In the kitchen, Akhier is preparing another batch
of crumpets so that when the one in the oven is done he
can get another going right away. He reaches over and he
plucks a leaf of what appears to mint. In his head he laughs
at the brillience of his discovery. Truly who would guess that
there was a herb that is to dragons what catnip is to cats.
It looks and taste almost exactly like mint as long as it is
cooked in something. It was quite easy to find a recipe in
this inn that required some mint and with that his plan came
together.

OOC: I'm glad you objected to that and not to Moe's old adventuring name. Though it could be just a distant cousin twice-removed or something (for all we know, Phansteras is a common surname 'round these parts

About the tech, Book is not claiming to have actual working equippable/playable items, merely flavourful concoctions made from salvaged parts imported from slightly-off-Universe (like, say, time machines, or Karaoke machines, or even pens for that matter), and put to work in amusing fashion. No actual night actions or the like will be based off them.

A young man dressed in a black pea coat, black slacks, dress shoes, black leather gloves, and a fedora stood in the back smoking a cigar and observing the others around him with his alert, brown eyes. He rubbed his five-O'-clock shadow as he pondered the people before him.

"An interesting group indeed."

He puffed his cigar again, gathering what information he could from the happenings around him.
