The stranger begins to empty his satchel,Various assortments of incense burners, flasks of bacon oil, and baubles clatter onto the town center's cobblestone.

He sets out a place for himself in a shaded part of the town center, and begins to meditate in an attempt to contact his swine deity, LimulThuveg.

Suddenly a passing squirrel draws his attention, and he begins to chase it, oblivious to his meditation setup.

The Still burning incense burner topples, spilling the flaming bacon oil upon his meager worldly possessions Which burst into a brilliant Bacon scented pyrotechnic display.

The stranger begins to Curse frantically in an alienating foreign language as he tries to smother is with his massive brown hands... 

But the damage is done, and so he begins to sob in his strange dialect as his worst fears are realized...

He is a foreigner in a strange town without a penny to his name...

I'm going to leave the sign-ups open until sometime Friday afternoon. At that point I'll close them and we'll begin day 0. Day 0 will go until Monday or Tuesday, at which point the main game will begin.

You must have posted at least once about who and what your character is during Day 0 for me to actually include you in the game.

Assume medieval times as they thought it was. Most people have never actually seen magic, witches, werewolves and the like but they all believe that it exists. And, in this case, it does.

well I'm going to describe my character before day 0 starts...

He's a wandering monk that is very, Very far from home...
He doesn't know the language that everyone else is speaking but he gets the gist of it.
His gestures are somewhat understandable.
He can't read medieval writing however, making him illiterate.

He is from Zertoon, Tibet.
He is a discipline of the golden swine LimulThuveg.

   I am as ever in love with dragons. The fact that most
if not all are dead from dragon slayers does not affect my
hope to someday meet one even if I would then become
meat for one.
   Sadly an encyclopedic knowledge of dragons is only
good if you are willing to sell it to dragon slayers so I
currently work at the inn doing odds and ends to make my
way to a mountain range that I heard about where there is
rumored to be dragons.
   I have been in this town for a couple seasons now because
when I first got here I accidentally got quite drunk and now
still have a while till I pay off my debts to the inn. The village
children love me for my stories but their parents don't like my
anti-dragon slayer agenda.

When will role PMs go out relative to Day 0?

   They go out after. Day 0 is to let us set up our characters
without our roles interfering. The flavor might be tailored but
the roles themselves will not depend on them. Least that's how
I read it.
