Can anyone help me identify this tileset?
« on: February 14, 2011, 09:25:18 am »

I've been using a while in private projects, but would *really* like to get hold of the author and see if could be used commercially!

Ahh, got it! It's by May Green:

And for anyone who's interested in seeing it in action:

That doesn't imply the guy made it, though. I'm not really sure where his graphics come from, but he'll probably be glad to tell you.

I have to wonder why you'd want to use them in something commercial, though.

I've talked to him, he did make them.

And because... I really like them, and their style fits in nicely. Nicer than the damned Xbox avatars, anyways!

FortressCraft

Truly it's none of my business but... can you actually do that? I mean, both games that are being cloned are kinda in development, you know.

Yeah, seems pretty shameless if you ask me.

They seem to be justifying it by saying that Minecraft was a 'clone' of infiniminer. But Fortresscraft seems to be a straightout port of Minecraft onto X-Box live.

Im pretty sure minecrafts copyright does not belong to these guys, so if they ask money for a port it would not only be shameless and despecable, it would also be illegal.
