Place those archers on horseback and you've pretty much got it.
There are merc horse archers if you don't know, mostly in the lands the Turks start out with.

And? This just makes it easier to pick them up while you're attacking the Timurids. It's better than haveing to ship a General to the otherside of the map to pick them up then ship them all the way back.

Ok, I now have a challenge for everyone reading:

Use a map of Europe or whatnot, and MS Paint, and craft a plan of attack. Then we'll vote on which is best, and I'll try and follow it. Refer to the OP for what I hold. The Timurids have Constantinople and Thessalonica, as well as all of Asia Minor.

It's a geographic map. Jesus elephant charged magma shooting horse archers aren't actually settlements, no matter how much more awesome they may be.
