Okay, have to finish cooking dinner so the turn will be later. First questions for Powder to fill out his sheet with.

Is he a Psionic?

Is he in Sol or Epsilon Eridani?

Is he still in the Technocracy or is he heavy with the Unchained yet?

Hmm, a bit OT but if you don't mind a bit of advice (@Powder Miner), Trol and I already kinda got the frontline fighter/really strong thing locked down. Given your profession, I'd recommend pumping Willpower and Intelligence instead and being a powerful Psionic-type since we don't really have one in the party. I don't mean it as a criticism or anything, just throwing in my two cents. :D

He's not psionic yet, On Earth, and still with the Technocrats, although that'll probably change soon. (BAsically the same situatiion as these guys were in in the prologue)

No one, just thought I'd offer an observation. And I'm trying to move Dom into the psionic role myself anyway, so... you can completely disregard me. ^^

Okay, the official reveal was supposed to wait until Chapter 2, but if you thought about it should have been clear by now.

The jump gate is scrambled all to hell.

Nothing gets into Eridani, and nothing gets out. If you stay on earth it might be looong wait until you get to see action other than being thrust into a black bag.

Working on turn now.

Hmm. It would be interesting if I actually started rebelling on Earth and started actually succeeding though.

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

Spoiler: Initiative (click to show/hide)

Taric Sizier

Rest a bit then take a shot at the Bio-mech

[Stamina Roll 4-1] It just isn't helping, the longer you sit still the more your adrenaline fades, and the more your fatigue starts to catch up with you.

---

Unchained Link

The massed unchained give Dom a brief nod, the way they're linked makes them all do it at once. It is very creepy. Then they cut loose on the unshielded walker with a blaze of energy. [Blade 1-2-1 (Bonus negated), Blade 3-2-1+2+2] [Luck roll 5] Their first assault fouls Immediately, but the energy is dispersed before it can cause unnecessary harm. The second blade slashes forward at Hake [Prototype walker passive kinetics 3+2] The walker's reflexive brain is able to counter the psionic blade, but it costs it in terms of focus.

---

Hake Nohken

The shields springs back to life as Hake finishes the thought process for the psionic barrier. You can swear you hear him growling in your head, twisting to regard the mosquitoes that have been a problem. He fires a somewhat off hand bolt of energy at the one overhead before doing something very strange.[Slam 3-1-1+2+1] The first blast of force flies toward Tarran with the force of particularly large freight train. [Tarran Passive kinetics 4+1] The blast diverts around him, warping the steel door frame to either side of him with the wake of its passage. [Voidcracker 4-2-2+2+1] Everything grows dim and muffled as Hake begins drawing in energy.

You keen intuition tells you something bad is going to happen.

---

Tarran Smith

Reload and fire again!

You don't even have time to swear when the blast of energy hits, just throw your hands up in surprise and alarm. Luckily for you that actually does the trick. Now that you have time to do so you swear thoroughly while reloading your rifle. [Dex 2+1] You reload, but your hands are shaking too badly to pull of a shot too.

---

Trol Grane

fuckfuckfuckfuckshitshitshit Switch to using the fenrir

While uncreative you manage to keep up a good heat of flaming obscenity and draw the Fenrir, firing again on the Walker. [Quickshot 5] You aim and fire smoothly, [Walker shield roll 1 (Bonus negated)] something about you just seems to piss shields off. [Walker will roll 3+2-1 split focus] The shields firm up again but the blue bolt of energy from the pistol is already through. [Walker armor roll 4+3-2] The energy bolt scars the armor lightly, once again filling the air with the stench of burning hair.

The Fenrir is discharged, the Irin is ready for use.

---

Dominique Wakeman

"Come on!" Dom yelled, continuing to spray the bio-walker down with acid. It seemed to be effective enough and she didn't have any other plans.

You spray the damn thing, again. [Quickshot roll 1] [Luck roll 3] You don't that you're going to be able to pull the same stunt off twice, but it's worth a shot. You spray again, but the weapon hisses fitfully.  The weapon isn't picking up anything from the canister, you growl in frustration and shake the weapon up and down to refresh the tank.

Weapon will be ready for use next round.

---

Prototype Bio-Walker

Remove secondary problems from system, compensate for increased power draw from the Control.

The walker vibrates slightly [active kinetics 2+2-1 split focus] shaking a good portion of the acid from it's carapace.

Hmm. It would be interesting if I actually started rebelling on Earth and started actually succeeding though.

Show me a way and I'll let you try it.

There's a damn good reason why the revolution has to start in Eridani, on Sol you are one man. One man against legions of politicians, deadheads, scanners, specialist psionics who will root your abilities out in a second, Arbiters, scared people, prelates, etc, etc.

On Eridani you have a chance, albeit a very slim one.

Fire twice, aiming for what seems to be the weakest points.

"Shit. Fuckin' thing..." Dom mumbled, shaking the carbine. It felt like there was more acid in the tank, it just wasn't getting through. Damn thing's shaking it off, too. There's gotta be something I can do here. She looked up towards the ceiling. Maybe there would be a loose i-beam or something that would require just the slightest nudge to fall...
