You reach the Signifer and he favors you with a spectacular scowl, apparently he remembers you. Apparently he got a new desk from the reclamation of the Independent section, it looks very nice, actual wood if you had to guess. Your inner child scampers around your mind in glee.

"Hey, I like the new desk. Real wood right?" [Signifer will roll 2] The man's expression falters for a minute but he picks up as if he hadn't heard the veiled threat.

You head to the Signifer after Tarran, you get there in one piece. The once alien corridors are almost familiar now, strange. While you wait for Tarran to get done with the Signifer you grab one of the offices pads and pull up your account, and give a low whistle. Not a bad paycheck, though you guess being the one to kill hake got you a good piece of it. Your account stands at 90C.

You want your gear back, you may not need it, but you'd certainly rather lug it around for nothing than desperately need to shoot something and not have it on you. You follow Tarran and Troll from the Matriarch's to the Signifer's and get in line with Trol, he pulls up his account on a pad and seems impressed. You take the pad next and pull up yours, well you're glad you lived long enough to get paid. Your account stands at 74RC.

She crumpled up the can and tossed it into a handy receptacle as they passed it. "I'm gonna go find somethin' fun to do. See you guys later!" she said brightly with a slightly drunken wave, and wandered off towards the training area.
You part with the main group and head down to the training hall, feeling pleasant lack of total sobriety. Say what you will, the Technocracy doesn't skimp when it came to the pleasure of those it employed, or pain. That though was a much more sobering line of thought, and not one you're prepared to embark on given your current mood.
You make it the training hall after a few minutes an elevator ride. You feel an irration urge to yell "whee!" on the way down.
