Don't go around BITCHING about how, "waaaah, that guys story is to dark, Waaaaah, People can't die, waaaaah, I want to write romantic dwarf fiction". STFU. This is a forum game about colonization. I have been wanting to say this for ages. But I've had too much pity/concern to do so.
Perhaps it is misplaced, but either way I do not exactly approve of the practice of locking the thread in the first place.

Phantom, I'm not trying to being insulting. I'm just saying, as someone who occasionally peers in to the thread(s), you guys seem to overreact a lot and treat every character conflict (ie. the "your plot is ruining the plot I was setting up" stuff) like the entire game is utterly ruined. Presumably it's a fun game for you guys considering how much you all post in it. If someone's spoiling everyone else's fun, you guys shouldn't end up with pages of "THAT WAS ALL MY FAULT I FEEL TERRIBLE I'M SO STUPID," you should say "Hey, person who just messed up, stop doing that. Let's go back to a few posts before it happened and keep going from there." And if they don't cut it out you kick them out of the game for being unwilling to follow the rules. The drama isn't natural, it's being dragged in unnecessarily by the players; calling it 'natural' is just being unwilling to accept responsibility.

Effectively, and this is a general note, when the thread opens up again just keep going and behave yourselves and if someone refuses to, just boot them and continue on. You could all stand to relax a ways.
