Deadliest Warrior (Dwarf)

I just got this idea last night while watching Deadliest Warrior. Its basically:
"Deadliest Warrior is a television program in which information on historical or modern warriors and their weapons are used to determine which of them is the "deadliest" based upon tests performed during each episode. The show is characterized by its use of the data compiled in creating a dramatization of the warriors' battle to the death."-Wikipedia

See the bold part? I was wondering about it when, i started wondering about DF. We have an arena, where warriors fight to the death. Can't we do this in DF? we have all the tools, we just need modders to mod in weapons and armor.

Weapon modelisation is very unrealistic in DF.
See lightwhips, and scourgelasers.

Yeah, a scourge is basically like a whip made of diamond razors. On fire.

This is a really good idea, though.

Deadliest warrior isn't really that great, they use wrong equipment for the different warriors. A SS soldier had to fight some guy (Can't remember what kind of soldier he was) and they gave the SS guy a rifle from WWI.

Many weapons from WWI were still in commission during WWII (especially the early parts)...it was SS vs Vietcong btw...

I agree though in that some of there decisions seem slanted, questionable, and illogical...also has lots of narrow scenarios and they don't seem very open minded...they also strike me as stupid...

Absolutely nothing about that show is at all scientific. Still fun to watch though.

This is a really good idea, though.

If you think scourges are bad, try morningstars. Same velocity and contact area (the reasons scourges are good), but with more weight behind the blow and a decent penetration depth.
