Rage!

Dorfs: OH GOSH I'M SO HUNGRY
Elfs: Huzzah! We bring bountiful food n' booze!
Dorfs: Yaaay!
Dorfs: Here, take these fine shale and jet crafts we didn't know were decorated with wood!
Elfs: WHAT IS THIS CRAP? GOODBYE.
Dorfs: NO MAH BELLY

And that is how my fort is about to die.

Can't you harvest plants from the above world or caverns? Or are you in a plant-less area and the caverns are extremely dangerous?

Quote from: Phantom
Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.
Quote from: Ze Spy
Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

Nothing brewable, we're attempting to grow crops now, we need mostly booze.

I can empathize.

I swear at one point elves would buy obsidian shortswords. I am about 99.99% sure... Doesn't matter though, because they sure as hell don't now.

Why didn't you just confiscate their goods? There's a note at the bottom listing commands, 's' is to seize the selected goods. It won't bring about war, nothing seems to anymore...

My Stonecrafters join the military(along with Woodcrafters), and i make millions of useless mechanisms to train my mechanic, seriously, an relatively inexperienced mech can pump out 100's of the damn things in a season

Did you know that if you write 3.14 on a piece of paper and hold it in a mirror, it will say pie? And if you divide 42 by 3.14... you get 13.37!

The dwarves keep trying to make me a barony, and their citizens defect to me...

The humans actually bring me food and booze...

Goblins are at war, so occasionally sacrifice a war party to my cages...

So why should I be nice to the elves? Last time I confiscated the foodstuffs, and walled off the depot.  All inside went mad until only a psyco horse was left.  Had to kill it to 'claim' the last drinks...even though my dwarves would drink from the barrels...

Seriously (if one can say that in DF), can you butcher a dog or horse?  Dig, dig, dig, until you hit a cavern, and harvest that? Harvest surface shrubs and make booze from that?  Seriously, if you can pick it, you can brew it.  Works in real life too, but is not that nice....

And this is why I make a habit of just pulling the trade depot out from under them so I can have ALL of their stuff.

I generally don't bother with elf slaughter, but in this case you should totally kill the lot of them. I think you might even be able to butcher their pack animals.

I am trying to make chickens lay bees as eggs. So far it only produces a single "Tame Small Creature" when a hen lays bees.
Honestly at the time, I didn't see what could go wrong with crowding 80 military Dwarves into a small room with a necromancer for the purpose of making bacon.
