Maybe it's a very small planet? And IMO dragons flying from planet to planet through space would be absolutely freaking cool.

Off-Topic: but that's one of the things I've incorporated into a Homebrew campaign setting... because dragons influenced by celestial objects and traveling through space is 20 200% cooler than what most fantasy settings do.

The way Rarity, Applejack and Fluttershy have their eyes close makes me think Celestia's going to show them something (close your eyes! Don't look!). It doesn't fit with Celestia's expression, though.

Sounds too much like the original pilot 2-parter. The last thing (well, second to last thing) I want happening to this show is it turning into sailor moon, and while I'm not too scared of that, I was hoping they'd marginalize the elements of harmony thing for something less macguffin-y. Can't the characters defeat evil and whatnot without super powers?

I am more worried about the part saying they have to "find" the elements of harmony. They already found and are the elements. Even if the crystal armor stuff is actually the elements or what have you unless they went all dragon ball off screen then they or Celestia should still have the things.
