So I'm trying to get another few people interested in the show. I'm currently 1 for 1, with the clearcut method of getting them to read Cupcakes. I somehow doubt this method will continue working. Which episodes are the easiest for new people to get into?

Dragonshy (ep 7) I think is one of the best to introduce the show with. It's got lots of references early on (like the A-team thing), is pretty funny at parts, and has an awesome ending.

To start with having to pause it randomly because of outside interference can accidently reveal amazingly funny snapshots

When Twilight and Spike first get to ponyville Spike says "Maybe the ponies of ponyville have interesting things to talk about" and all I can think of is Spike = Navi

Rainbow Dashes entrance = RL LOL

I saw the party coming a mile away. Twilight started just going on and on about needing to be alone while in a pitch black room. She must have Murphy on speed dial or something.

And Pinky, oh my. Seeing as I knew quite a bit about the show before I watched it I had voices in my head for what they would sound like and Pinky is the only one who sounds EXACTLY like what I thought she would.

Generic ending song does not go with the to be continued mood. Really for the first episode something with a little more relevance to the end of the show should have been done though I can respect that they probably did not have the ability to get one done in time.

If that is a baby mantacore whats an adult like? Also, really? a Thorn? how about something less, you know, removable. Though I can respect a lion with a thorn in his paw parable

Pinky rolled to disbelieve the illusion and succeeded. Also I need to make a D&D spell that does that tree thing.

Just thinking out loud but if the moons on one side, would the sun not be on the other? Does that mean celestia is trolling it up on the other side of the planet and causing eternal day?

Just before Celestia shows up she thinks to herself "Just as Planned"

Now heres a thought, how can a true immortal be old or young?  I figure Luna has a few more millennium to go before she gets as "old" in looks as her sister. She only looked older as Nightmare because she thought she had to look at least as old as her sister to truly have the power and seeing as we have already seen her ability with illusions (the trees and the pegasus) then she probably just had an illusion of her being older.

Assume Equestria is a flat plane, and Celestia has been banished to the sun, as she had banished Luna to the moon.

From what I understand, she is technically younger, with a quantum difference in age,  but the appearance is due to her 'recovering' or whatever from her purging NMM from her body.
