Vec, even guys wearing extreme makeup like black eyeliner can get pretty ridiculous. Period. And sometimes the reason to wear makeup is so you don't see it.

No, I meant more in terms of "face paint to make you look like a bird, maybe once a year."  And seriously, I like seeing the bags under people's eyes and the scars and the wrinkles.  It makes faces look more... facelike.  The dark marks under my eyes are a badge of pride and a symbol of hard work.  I'm not so proud that I need to look all plasticky and shiny, too--or even just "naturally prettified by makeup," whatever that means.  I'd rather have my hard work show on my face, and the makeup so many people seem to consider "not seeable" is pretty obvious to me.
A person to my heart.

This thread concept seems a little loaded, don't you think?  Who's going to say they love fake beauty?

Anyway, I put no difference.  If a person can look good without prettifying PRONOUN beforehand, more power to PRONOUN.  Some people need makeup to look their best.  If they do and they look their best in makeup, let them look their best.

Wait, MoM is a girl? I knew vector was but I applied 'There are no girls on the internet' to MoM. Maybe she's a plant to find pedos.

There's a fine line between wearing makeup to hide a zit to make acne not so noticeable, and wearing makeup to hide a wrinkle to look younger.

Yeah. You didn't know? Huh. I think Leafsnail is also a girl, but I could be mistaken. There are quite a few women on these forums.

:-\
It is disconcerting to hear that people find it so hard to believe that females use the internet.

I'm not as much bothered by people assuming everyone is a guy, but that everyone goes out of their way to act like dumpasses when they find out a girl is nearby.

... >_>

Actually, I'm kind of proud that I've fallen off the "girl-wagon."

Ah, zits.  Doesn't makeup generally just make them worse?  I basically just ignored mine through high school, and that worked out all right.  Of course, I wasn't exactly cruising for dates...

Why do people just 'cruise for dates' anyway?

I get the image of you a a short, slim woman for some reason. And I had an idea about MoM, but I act like an idiot occasionally to make sure people never have high expections of me, allowing me to suprise them when it is important, it also hides my insecurities.

But yeah, zits are annoying, although mine aren't a big problem.

And why am I venting my inner thoughts now?

Because they want them, presumably =/  Probably to feel less lonely or more in control of their situations than they are.  Or maybe just carnal lust they think could be fulfilled somehow.

Or they just think dating is fun.

Uh... oil based makeup would probably make them worse, yeah.

Although I seem to have inherited relatively acne/ spot free skin from my parents.  Eh, one thing to be thankful for.
