Запускаю в общем на Ubuntu 10.04 и не работает звук почему-то в init.txt
Change this to turn sound off.

The sound volume runs from 0 (off) to 255 (full).  You can set the volume from the ESC options menu as well.

В меню игры открыть меню звук не могу... (оно серое не тыкается)
В общем вот какое железо:

Ну, во-первых, пишешь по-русски на англоязычном форуме, что не есть гут.

Во-вторых, понятия не имею. Запустить Win-версию через Wine никак? Я в Линуксах не шарю...

Вполне, только запомни что русскопонимающих здесь не так много, а русскоговорящих вообще единицы (из активных пользователей по крайней мере). Не можешь английским напрямую, пользуйся хотя бы Google Translate.

Can't open the sound menu in-game (it's grey, can't click)

А использоваь русский язык разве разрешено правилами форума? Вообще, даже еслит разрешено, это достаточно... гм, грубо. В жизни не поверю что нет русскоязычных форумов. Есть русская вики. ДФач, в конце концов.
А вообще, зачем он тебе? В игре из звука одна только мелодия, и то та валяется в папке music, можно просто проигрывать в бэкграунде если надо
