Yes, I looked back and saw that you came up with that plan.

I probably wouldn't have misinterpreted that if I had bothered reading the last half sentence of the italics.

I took it as Disead hijacking your plan and "improving" it, so he can get all the credit...he *did* risk his neck for it, and being a introverted person, he likely deluded himself into thinking so.

"Yes, all my plan!" Disead said loudly. "Don't be surprised, I'm a genius you know. I mean, I could of been killed, but I realized that only though diplomacy can we truly hope to prosper here, and was willing to sacrifice myself for the good of the fort..."

@ Zrallin
Warlord, you say? Hmm...we could remove him easily enough-Human security is fairly pathetic...but it wouldn't solve the problem. There would be another warlord within in a month. Given enough time, we could...finesse the situation. The people are no doubt chafing under an iron fist, but are also so wary of non-humans that they will follow him in fear of us. Hearts and minds, my friend. Think about it.

Disead goes into meditation and attempts to try and supress his memories for defense against the entity. In the battle, I'll attempt to strike the creature from an open angle.

I don't know what your character's skills are, but you're probably not one of the best people to use as a tank for this.

Well, anyone else is free to volunteer then. I'll join the backstabbers!

"Frozen food? It preserves freshness by inhibiting microbacterial growth. Human's actually use it alot!

(Because of his Scheming Nature Perk, it's probably in our best interest to let Disaed take credit for coming up with our plans.)

Zrallin will ask everyone their opinion about what to do about the warlord, then he will practice his Stealth and Shield Use until the spirit appears.

Dusk says when asked what to do about the warlord, "He doesnt sound so bad, why dont we invite him for dinner."

I'm curious, what type of weapon would a staff be classified as? Also, what's the maximum level a skill can reach?

Staffs will use either unarmed or blunt skill depending on the style I envision your character using. Most dawnelfs I'd imagine would charge the weapon with arcane power and bash away. Someone trained for high combat would use it to strike, jab, and parry.

In theroy there is no top level for a skill. If 1d(10*skill level) < t. t is the number of times I rolled for the skill. t is multiplied by 2 if you have a bonus to learning and divided by 2 if you have a penalty to learning. If your skill level is 0 I roll a d5 against t. All rolling is done on random.org

I'm creating the OOC thread now. Please direct all further OOC discussion there. This thread is now reserved for posting actions and IC discussion.

After hearing this Dusk, thinks for a minute and says, "If he likes force, maybe, we should train the big stone bug and then we have lots of force, and hauling things to show the warlord we have force with our music will be easy."

When Miriam learns that a BOSS FIGHT is about to happen, she relishes the chance.
If you guessed her strategy was full frontal assault, you'd be right. Someone has to do it.
