So...

Carefully pry what you can see out of the mine with minimal vibration while floating on hoverboards (barely any Materials gained, but safe)
Restart Mining, get Material. (Steady Material flow again, but cause the burrowers to start appearing)
Ignore Mine. (Explain in post, please)

Yes, it is more efficient, but this was a totally unknown substance and they needed to get rid of the somewhat rusty things anyway.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Regular steel would probably melt too. Any galvanized steel is probably being used for the essentials of the dome, so we shouldn't waste it.

If the dome isn't melting and our weapons are adamantine (I assume that god-metal is stronger than dome-metal) then we should just use our weapons.

Iron tools?
We should be using STEEL! I mean, seriously, tools aren't made out of iron these days, much less in the future.
>_>
They didn't want to risk the steel tools on unknown goop.
If the blood melts iron, why does it have absolutley no effect on me, despite being covered by it (i assume its since i am organic or something)?.
Lets try covering the tools with something tough and organic, since it seems that it doesn't eat through it.
Also, it would be nice in the regular updates if you say who had the roll more clearly (eg. bo:10. george:12, instead of bo&george 10,12), pretty small, but it would be nice.

It does not affect humans. The four things known about the greenish black goo-blood so far (until the scientists get a chance to study it more) are thus:
1. Iron is dissolved by it
2. Humans are not affected by external exposure (and there probably isn't anyone stupid enough to test internal)
3. It mutates/evolves things until they stop dying from it, somewhat like Phazon.
4. the doom virus is carried within it.

Stop your logic before you get retconned into melting!

We could probably take something like a plasma cutter the engineers probably use to do this.

Or just use our weapons. We know they wont melt, we've been using them the entire time to kill them.

The blacksmith folllows you three up, carrying an extremely large shard of broken pottery.
You again begin to cut up the megamook, this time with less fail.
