Vega: Spanglish is always annoying, mostly because it never sounds good when you throw random words from one language into a sentence constructed in another language. It mystifies me that anyone still does it. It just sounds bad, no matter the reason.

I don't understand the odio towards hispanic characters, they have nice personalidad, but apparently gringos are always trying to keep them down. What's wrong with the way they hablan? There should be a place for more hispánicos in games. I myself am a spanish speaker, and have never seen any of my compañeros complain about the way we speak. Please, more inclusión social, and less bigotry about all these nice compadres and no more complaining about estereotipos. Viva la revolución! Ay caramba!

Yes, ancient god-kid AI out of nowhere was goddamn stupid, and means somewhere in the beginning there was an original creator of the citadel, and the reapers, and the keepers. But Bioware did resolve the geth-quarian confilct (you chose how that went). You stopped or let the genophage continue. You saw the results of saving/killing the rachni queen. And, you defeated the reaper threat. THAT ALL SAID, the ending itself was worse than a simple "The End" screen.

At least something good came out of it. The Child's Play charity drive was a pretty awesome way to raise these issues, IMO. Makes me feel a bit better about the gaming community at large.

Yeah, shame the organization had it closed. They didn't want the movement associated with a charity for kids, which is kinda understandable. Still, what was it, 80k? Very impressive.

 Any resolutions to any of the conflicts throughout the game are rendered moot by the "space magic! And then the universe blew up" ending. The geth-Quarian conflict was adressed in the game, but what happened to them? I mean, you could make them friends or whatever, but did the quarians even survive as a species? Probobly not! The endings liberal use of space magic basically invalidates everything you've done, because it's a massive gaping plot hole that sucks the entire trilogy into it. You spend the entire game following all these different story hooks and plot threads, only for the ending to essentially be "rocks fall everyone dies." Not to mention that the entire reaper threat is completely undercut by the baffling lack of logic in the final part of the game.

Stopping the reapers is nowhere near as important as finding out what happens afterwards, thats why nearly every narrative you've ever read/watched/played doesn't finish as soon as the bad guy is killed. There's a difference between an ending and a place where you just stop telling a story. They finish the overarching plot, but without any closure or satisfactory explanation.

It doesn't translate to text well, but I use exaggeration humor a lot. I'm still glad a charity got support, but enough people being that aggressively stupid to warrant having an article written and then demanding their money back from charity really pisses me off. The fact that I agree with the issue they were stupid in supporting makes me feel stupid, too.
