"I promise you my fellows that if this human who can use our power becomes a threat I will get rid of him myself, I'd rather not see the descruction he would cause." Wise one said before turning his attention back to attempting to figure out how the Veil works and how he could use it.

Noner tames another lion, and as the fledgling village breaks camp, the lion goes with the villagers to protect them

"Khorne, I warn you that i will actively oppose you in your attempts to change this human, yes wise one's human can control the divine essence, a blasphemous activity, but his power is still weak. The amount of energy you are putting into your human is astronomical, and if your plans work out, i have no clue what he will be capable of." Noner looks down at the human venturing into the wild and plans his next move.

"Be calm, Noner. This human will be no threat to you. If he survived the intake of energy, then I assure you, I will allow him to do no harm. If he becomes too powerful, I will strip him of all life. I am merely allowing him to better serve me, which is precisely what he wants."

Begin Turn 6, Summer of Year 2

-- Tribal Updates --

The Wise One’s tribe has begun construction on a grand temple. Three seasons remain before construction is complete. A tribe of people has been sighted by the hunters and scouts of the village to the southwest. The people beseech the Wise One for advice.

Khorne sends his prophet into the wild to survive for a year and a day, with the promise of great power should he succeed. Khorne’s power begins to flow down into the world, surrounding the man. The people continue the Lifestyle construction, needing one more season to complete it.

In Noner’s Tribe, several visions are interpreted by the elders. The fledgling village moves southwest to a new territory and begins to establish itself there, protected by a new lion guardian. A shaman has brought forth golden seeds from a cave, and discovered the rudiments of agriculture. Wheat is planted in fields nearby, giving the tribe an alternative to hunting and gathering. While no true criminals are present in the tribe, the elders decide to increase the severity of the justice system to deter any future crimes. Anyone committing murder or rape will henceforth be devoured and torn apart by vicious lions. Food has been plentiful, and the people have prospered. Another fledgling village sets up nearby, and Noner gains a second white token.

A group of ten men has set out from the tribe on their own, chasing a rumor. They have heard that other men live across the great plains, and they are determined to trade with these strangers to increase the tribe’s wealth. They have set out towards the east, searching for these people.

Zeno Grath’s tribe moves northeast but stops when they sight the village of the Seekers. They set up camp and pray for guidance concerning these strangers. Several times over the season scouts and hunters from the villages meet in the field, for the most part giving each other a wide berth. This is the first time they have encountered people not of their own tribe, and their reactions are mixed.

The tribe of Zerg has split, with the new population moving north. The main village continues construction on the Temple, needing two more seasons to complete it. Word has reached the tribe that another village lies to the northwest, filled with heretical unbelievers who do not worship Zerg. The elders are considering this village a threat.
The cult is difficult to locate, and clearly has members among both sections of population but most of them are in the main village. You sense that the cult has grown, and probably comprises about 12 members now. As you watch for it, you do discern the identity of one of the cultists, a village hunter. Perhaps by watching him you could find more members over the next season. The cult meetings are infrequent and conform to no specific schedule, so it is difficult.

-- Other Events --

The Wise One continues his study of the Veil. It seems to be composed of energy drawn from the thoughts of Mankind. It is infinite in expanse, and surrounds the entire world. Divine power can flow through it, but doing so takes some force as the Veil resists intrusion from any source.

In his exploration of the Veil, the Wise One has come upon something unexpected. The power and worship flowing from the mortals to the gods takes the form of shining ribbons of energy which flow smoothly from the world and into the heavens. The Wise One has discovered another such ribbon of energy, flowing from a point in the world and to some unknown place in the infinite heavens. This ribbon is no shining beacon, but a dark thorny thing full of malice and spite. I have marked the origin point of the ribbon on the map, the destination in the heavens is unknown at this time, as the energy recedes into the distance.

The sorcerer within the Wise One's tribe has perfected the rudiments of his craft, and is now able to wield power on a small scale. He has brought another man into his confidence and is teaching him the ways of Magick as well.

(I don't see the marker for the black energy)

Wise one will appear before my propher in a dream to tell him that this new tribe are not enemies, they are allies, though one should be wary of them, but both tribes can learn from one another.
Wise one will also appear before the mage in a dream, and attempt to advise him that the magic is dangerous, and that he should focus it towards helping make or heal life.

Wise one will attempt to manipulate one of the ribbens, not the dark thorny one, just to see what happens.

Zerg, biding His time, observes the heretics more closely. When he is sure that as many as possible have gathered in one place, he shall appear to them, and ask them why they have strayed from His path.

Khorne, both drained by the input of power into his Disciple and the comparatively low intake due to everyone working, decides that his actions this season should be limited. He sends a vision to the elders of his tribe that a man shall come to the village, and that he should be hailed as a hero upon his arrival. Khorne also says in the vision that he will announce the man's arrival in a booming voice.

In the heavens, Khorne creates a copy of his Disciple, who shall henceforth be named Eliphas. He begins to... "experiment" with different mutations to decide what should be given to the real Disciple. Khorne gives the copy a large, biomass sword for an arm. He decides to leave it at that for the season, to see how he likes it.

Khorne spoke to Wise One. "He has already become too powerful. Now he is teaching others of his heresy! He must die...NOW."

Also in the heavens, Khorne speaks. "Damnit, first there's a bloody cult, then there's a human god! This must not continue."

Zeno Draws upon his strength, and attempts to send the message that these people are freinds, not enemies, to the man carrying his original hammer. He tells the people to give them a basket of Fish as a gift.

He looked over to the wise one. "This could become bad." Zeno said, before he looked back down to his people.

"Khorne, i have thought over my response, if you make your human impotent, then i will do nothing to stop your plans for him. As it is though, what you are saying reeks of hypocrisy, you funnel huge amounts of power into a human and get mad that wise one has a human that has a little bit of power of his own"

I focus my will in the godly realm to make a human, and have him go and poke khorne in the face.

"As if you could stop me, Noner! Worry not, though, I shall humor you. Eliphas, as I have decided to call him, shall not breed. Believe me, no woman will want to go near him, anyway. Or maybe they all will want to be with him. Who knows?"

Khorne has his Eliphas copy use his sword arm to chop Noner's human's arm off.

"Please, Khorne. If we put our minds to it, Four gods will beat one. Should we decide that this beast you are creating shall die, trust me, he shall die." Zeno said, slowly petting the robotic eagle while watching the small tribe of humans.

"Please khorne, your small mindedness stuns me, while you may be strong, with so much of your power going to this human, and all your focus on him, i suspect it would be easy to do some minor changes that would kill him. or even a direct contest of power if i wished, with me wielding far more, since all yours would be pouring away."

I alter the organs in my human's body into explosives, killing it and taking "Eliphas" and Khorne's avatar with it.

Zerg smirks as He watches His brethren quarrel.

"Why do you fight amongst yourselves? Let Khorne have his pet, it is of no threat to us."

"Yes, let us all recognize the voice of reason. Thank you, Zerg. I think, however, we can all agree that Wise One's wielder of divine power is far too much and can not be tolerated, especially now that he is spreading his abilities!"
