I've heard the screams of the vegetables

This could possibly be relevant.

Semi-vegetarian.
I have no scruples regarding consumption of animals for food, I just don't really like eating meat.
...
And I don't like fancy foods.
This. My meat intake is white meat, breaded and fried. Also, some burgers.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Omnivore, but  will feel disappointed unless >50% of my food used to have a face.

Eat almost anything except birds and pigs.

Won't eat birds cause their my favorite animals, decided as a kid not to ever eat them and its sorta snowballed to the point where if you try and get me to eat them I'll stab you.

Won't eat pig cause of an experience I had when I was a kid where one was butchered on our property and it didn't die fast... or quiet.... :'(

I also don't eat eggs... they just don't sit right with me... coupled with my refusal to eat birds though....

Might like the taste of lobster, but it seems like a fancy food.
In my experiences, I found that lobster has quite a rich taste - and personally, the few times I've had it, I couldn't finish because it was too rich.

Omnivore.

Omnivore

I do try not to eat things that literally require horribly torturing an animal to be made (foie gras is the only thing that comes to mind right now, because of the whole inducing-fatty-liver thing).

This is so, so wrong.  I've come to a conclusion the longer I've lived and the more I've eaten: cruelty tastes good.

Yup, that's right.  It's delicious.  Fois gras, veal, live oysters, cooking a still moving lobster.  Look up ortolan.  You name it.  It's as if mother nature's tears were ambrosia itself, imparting food with its own indescribable flavor.

If it is/was alive I want to put it inside me.  Conquer its life essence and subvert it to my own ends.  Make it a part of myself in a literal way.  Because I'm at the top of the food chain, and I owe it to myself to stay there.

Tastes good man.

Hey, you can totally get veal humanely.

Really?  That's too bad.  At least it's still delicious :)

Ha!  I wasn't, but I may have to look into it.  A vegetarian friend of mine in undergrad did make me a "salad is murder" button, though.

I'm a without a doubt a true omnivore. It's not just that I like eating meat, but I don't like eating vegetables without meat, nor do I like eating meat without vegetables. A good meal has a nice mix of flavours. Plus, you know, pasta, rice, all sorts of other stuff. The moral of the story is everything tastes good and even better combined.
