((Niccolò Machiavelli is a idiot))
((Sure. Never liked old Mesopotamian stories though.))
((Meh, I haven't read it. I'm more of a novel person myself.))
Kata and Ivy smile as they hear EPIC TALES.

Berkar wanders over to the location and drops his absurdly large pile of books in a corner. Although he still clutches on to a copy of The 85 Days by R. W. Thompson.

"Hey, thanks Terry."
"Any time."
*Points to the fleeing shadows as the Harridan tilts forward to bring its massive guns to bear.*
"Do we pursue?"
"I don't think we'll get far."
*As we pass over the hole, it becomes clear that the shadows are passing through the blackmetal grate to escape. I sigh and then lean up against Terry.*
"So... Do you have any idea's on what to do next?"

Dariel answers that before the Tyrant.
"We leave."

(( I'm not clueless. >_>))
"That looks really good, ma-"

Ivy stops abruptly, then blinks several times, then has very, very wide eyes.
"Please tell me I didn't say what I think I said."
"You said what you think you said."
"Crap."

"And go where?" Jack asks, reverting to his normal form and standing on the dunes.

"Leave where? Off planet? I would suggest to plug any holes we find, drop a timed high-power thermobaric charge down the last as we close it, then look for plumes of flame indicating any tunnels we missed. Either that or go back in and try figure out what happened. If we took down this many, the remaining shouldn't be much of a problem."

"Well, I guess I am going back down. Anybody want to help me remove the grate?"

Meanwhile, Berkar just stares at Ivy disconcertingly.

"She was about to call you master, ma-Arek," Kata says, then blinks.
"Holy crap."

Berkar stares at both of them disconcertingly.
"Succubi nature catching up with you."

Dariel meanwhile nods.
"Use it."

"Not mine!" Kata and Ivy reply in unison.
"While Ivy CAN be bound, it doesn't happen by itself. But if it happened to Ivy, it would spread to me, yes," Kata adds.

Jack fetches the plasma cutter and uses it on the grate.
