"This place? It's the residence of one of my friends. Ghost lives nearby, while this bar is owned by a guy named Cole. I'll leave a note to Ghost later..."
Dariel blinks himself and Thera over back to near the Ark.
"I didn't get to show you everything. You think we should talk to Berkar?"

[Taricus]

"Alright!"

*starts upgunning the ship*

[Twi]

"Sure," Thera says.

[Phantom]

"It's your choice. He'd take it hard that I'm gonna leave."
Dariel begins to walk towards where Berkar parked the Banshee, which he is now writing notes on from outside.
"Berkar!"

[Twi]

Thera goes over to Berkar and waves.
"Hey."

[Phantom]

He looks over and takes a break from notes. He walks over.
"Yeah?"
Dariel looks at Berkar and Thera.

[Taricus]

*Finishes with the turrets*

"Time for the main gun"

*Starts building the main gun

[Twi]

"Dariel's apparently going to go sacrifice himself," Thera says, sadly. "He told me to take care of you."

Thera adds quietly, over her shoulder to Dariel, "You better make good on that before you die..."

"Wait, we need a main gun?"

[Phantom]

He quietly says to Thera a meaningful "I will."

Berkar, however, is laughing.
"You can't be serious about this! Really, I don't think Dariel will actually kill himself. Right bro?"
He just looks at Berkar.
"...
Bro?"

[Taricus]

*Finishes the main gun*

"We may not need it but it will come useful for clearing larger bits of debris"

[Twi]

"Throw his life away like a hopeless pagan or something is more like it," Thera says. She adds, "Also..." She trails off, holding up the finger with Dariel's ring on it.

[Phantom]

"...
WHAT!?"
Dariel facepalms, and then pretends to shoot himself with a gun. He stops goofing around and talks to Berkar finally.
"You won't get it. Look, you're gonna have to continue the Cross family. Uncle died on Kronus along with Raphael, and everyone else that carried our family name is dead too. Except for Thera now, and you. I decided to stay and fight, if all else fails..."
He taps the Tiberium tanks on his back.
"I have a little surprise."

[Taricus]

*sees that dariel and thera are back*

"What are you lot doing"

[Twi]

Thera facepalms, and says, "Okay then. This is an engagement ring. Dariel gave it to me.That's...really all I have to say."
She sighs, and says, "Well...Do him proud, Berkar."

[Phantom]

Dariel gives Berkar a friendly brohug before he leaves, and walks with Thera. He just stands there, just staring at the duo. He finally gets back in the Ship, and presides over where the cockpit should be.
"Keep up to your end of the promise, if I never make it."
