You wonder?  Pretty sure that's responsible for a good chunk of them, and that experimental aircraft are especially recognized as being the cause of most early ones, which correlates with certain places being hot spots for sightings.

The clickbait link from the NewsCorp front page was "Spidersaurus is the stuff of nightmares", and the byline is that everyone on the street is scared of the spiders.

I must be an aussie because my first reaction was "c'mon you wimps, it's not that big". False advertising there, it's a normal-sized common huntsman spider that's not even venomous.

No it does not have malware.

That's about as mainstream a news site as you'd ever get. It's owned and operated by Newscorp, same people who print half the newspapers in most major cities in English-speaking countries. The worst you might get infected with is some conservative opinion pieces in the editorial section.

... idk, I've also never seen even one pop-up on this site, unlike many American new sites.

Well, it happened, regardless of the journalistic quality.

Clicked page. Immediately regretted it. Spent the next few minutes cowering in the corner, until I found a cobweb in the corner. The following scream caused half the house to rush upstairs. How could you? *sobs*

Oh, but look at the little ones though! :3

Momma spider got herself a cozy home, and a brood of cute sweet skittery babies.

About to enter the next (last? only?) phase of Operation Trailer Trash. Preparing for extraction from my current sharehouse.
This means I need to quickly clean and pack up my entire room (apart from probably the mattress and a couple of bits of furniture that were there when I moved in) this afternoon, as well as... probably the wi-fi router. Ummm. Might leave that one 'til later, honestly. I had actually forgotten about that part right now. :-\

So many difficulties. So much anxiety resulting from this whole situation.

I remember that feeling, Yoink, even if the situation was a little different.

It'll get better once you're out. Good luck!

B-but I'm not gay?! ??? Unless you happen to be Noel Fielding I guess.

Seriously though, thanks. Actually turned out to be far less stressful (so far) than I expected. Phew.
I mean, I'm not quite out of the woods yet. But I've made it through all the parts that I expected to be bad, so it should be all good.

yeah, it's not really that big.

and i love spiders, so i might be biased but it's pretty neat <3

EDIT: The best part of the video is the ant scurrying along, seeing the spiders, and just 'NOPE'ing the f- outta there. And then getting caught in a web :D

why are you hungry on Thanksgiving? No one should have to deal with that..I'd be pretty mad too to be honest. Or at least disheartened.

Shit, I dunno what to do. Got to decide if I'm going to stay here or move back where I was before.
There are moments where it seems really obvious which one is the right choice, but most of the time my mind changes back and forth all the damn time. Last time I made a big decision like this I really booched it and flushed like, half or most of this year down the bilge.

Makes me kinda scared of committing to any such decision again. But I need to decide one way or the other soon. :-\
