New Brunswick is LOVELY in the Summer, and in fact the Maritimes in general are paradise in Summer.

No, when the ice melts in the spring water gets under the asphalt and then freezes during the night. Water expands when frozen, and so the road is destroyed every year by the upward force. Every single year.
