Well then.
I've had a few driving lessons in the past, not for quite a while though... it was always rather nerve-wracking for me. :-\
I kept expecting to screw up and die at any moment, even though I actually did pretty well and only made one real mistake (I just freaked out at a really confusing section of road where I had no idea where to go) and my instructer had nothing but praise for me.

And that was just learning on an automatic.
Honestly, I don't really like how prevalent cars are anyway, which probably has something to do with my lack of interest.
Not only are they super dangerous and killing people all the time, they both pollute the environment and annoy the hell out of my pedestrian self. My mother did offer to buy me a cool old Datsun if I got my license, though... Argh, that would be awesome if I could drive it. :-\

I actually do think driving is a lot like a multiplayer shooter. In both you've got a (presumably) human player whose actions, intent, skill level, etc are all being conveyed subtly (or not so subtly) through their rather crude representation, their character or their car. It's like in TF2 when someone moves slightly off and you instantly know they're a spy, only it's some shitlord with their headlights on at 11:00 AM making a turn without their signal.

I haven't had any driving lessons in over half a decade. Neither the opportunity nor the desire to do so have made themselves apparent.
I haven't had driving lessons in 15 years. :P

Haven't had driving lessons ever.

I wish. Sadly, most cars are not equipped with flamethrowers.

Alright, sudden late-night freak out about my life situation. That's useful. I love struggling to calm down right before I go to sleep.
