Look on the bright side, under local anesthesia there is zero chance of unintentional anesthetic awareness occurring.

what if we took local anesthesia and applied it to every point of the body separately

it's the best of both worlds
You need a significant amount of local anesthetic to get any effect too, so I don't know about how safe that might be.

Also, how would you apply mass amounts of local anesthetic? A ton of needles? Orally wouldn't really work, all you get is a painless stomach, if that.
I'm going to the ear, nose and throat doctor tomorrow. I probably have a growth in my nose (benign), and if I'm unlucky I need it removed via nasal endoscopy :( I'm terrified of having things stuck into my nose under local anesthesia. ;_____;
There are worse places to have things stuck up while conscious. My mom was still conscious when they started her Colonoscopy. She said "Stop it, that hurts" and they said "Up it". Fade to black.

I've been having these episodes where all of a sudden I can't breathe, which scares the hell out of me.

After finishing up with my gnome wizard and logging out of Everquest I saw an ad on Steam for Nascar the Game 2013. A thought then came to mind that may perhaps foretell the final death of the MMO as thoughts of World of Nascar swam through my head. The thought of a Nascar MMO disturbs me for some reason that may have to do with my strong aversion towards automobiles and motorists, which lead me to realizing that I am somewhat afraid of cars. I hate my mind some days.

World of Nascar would have the most horrifying '1337' gamers.
They would remove everything on their keyboard but the 'w' and 'a' keys. And become experts on 180 degree turns.

This makes it even more frightening for some reason.

Obviously you need meth addict midgets with blowguns hiding in an iron maiden.

Yes. Applied with high velocity to the subject's head. Instant anesthetic.

Nono, you see, that would be fun. Serious competitive gaming is not allowed to be fun.
