What discussion?

Should...I not have used it?
Can't be arsed to do a search for it at th'mo, but let us say that for a notable few, they didn't realize that was a heart until just recently. They though it was something... else. Search of GD should bring something up, though, if you're interested in hunting it down.

Let's just say that under their interpretation, that guy from the dating site is a <3. Among other things.

What discussion?

Should...I not have used it?

I stared into the void and saw the destroyer of worlds in rectangle form.

This torment, it knew no ends.

Well, he was at a level of power similar to Slenderman. I was apparently the cause of death for his master. He was after me, with his voice of the legion and eternal grin.

I haven't considered this, and while I'm not a believer of curses, what if this were true?

My mother's family side has faced a lot of separation and divorce. Her mother outlived her father by a large gap of years, her sisters have all divorced by the time I was 10. Also, her brothers have also divorced with their wives. All of these happened for a variety of reasons. One of her sisters died, not being able to find love. Her siblings broke up with/were divorced by their spouses, either due to infidelity on the male (including the brothers, but never the girls) side, or because of simple bad relationship chemistry.

What if my family was cursed not to have a good marriage? Some "experts" on curses say that curses last until the 3rd generation of the family member who was cursed. If my grandmother was cursed by one of her enemies back in the days, that would certainly lead up to me.

TL;DR: I am terrified that if, assuming curses are real, I were to exert effort to make a girlfriend, it might not end in sparkles and shines due to forces unknown. :o

Well, not terrified to a bone-chilling extent, but still...

When humans experience bad things, they notice them in increasing amounts and lump it all together.

Hence, curse.

Yeah, pretty much.

Also sometimes, bad things = more bad things.

The real trick to that picture is the truth that the kid in the background is a witch. Through that child's ministrations has New Guy learned the Truth.
