I'm scared. :-| It's 2:08 AM, why would it be on?!

Every now and then here, you can distinctly hear what sounds exactly like those sirens. It's not really helped by the fact that it's a very quiet place.

Tornado. That's probably it if its windy.

On a more serious note, I've been absolutely scared out of my wits the past 2 weeks because of the end of the school year assignment pileup. And now finals start tomorrow and I'm behind schedule with my studying.

Was staring out the window in the dark hours of the morning after hearing a grinding sound. I could have sworn the large construction vehicle outside my the kitchen window, bereft of driver, was moving around. It seemed to twist, and shift, stretching out it's single arm, but I suppose it was just my mind playing tricks on me. But I suddenly felt very unsafe, and locked all the doors, something I never do. I took one last look.

Then the cockpit(?) erupted into a red light like a seen out of a movie where the possessed creature/vehicle reveals itself, and I nearly had a heart attack before realizing a car had pulled into the driveway behind it while I was locking the door, and that was it's breaklights coming on and shining through the windows.

Exahusted, yet sleeping badly. I guess the heat doesn't help, although I wasn't sleeping that great beforehand either. I can put up with it for the time being, but worries me somewhat, as next month I'll start with night shifts... we'll see how it goes, I guess..
