I'm serious, I'm not spoiling but at first I thought the thing eating the children is the main co spirscy of the town, but it's much, much worse.

Absolutely, yeah. I could totally see a computer connecting ultrasounds, in-vivo fetus photography, and other childbirth-themed hospital imagery with newborns too.

Engaging some Machine Empathy for a second, does anyone else get the feeling that the output of Neural Networks seem to overlap with the weird and not quite sensible proto-thoughts that pop into your head when you're incredibly tired, or just barely waking up?

^{_{Assuming anyone else's brains do that too, I guess? Sometimes, my waking brain makes really weird leaps, and blends imagery and concepts in synesthesia-like attempts at logic that are complete and utter nonsense I can't parse in any sensible way once I wake up properly.}}

I mean to be fair, neural networks are like human brains but with worse processing power and less development time.

I hate that I can't play any horror games whatsoever. Even ones that border on comedy like Spooky's, everything just gets under my skin too much and it winds up bothering me for hours or days afterwards. Even watching LP's gets too heartracing, it's really pathetic. The worst one that I wasn't able to watch all the way through was the one ep of Power Drill Massacre by The Best Friends Zaibatsu, the atmosphere in that game was just too thick and suffocating with fear.
