Eaten repeatedly by the Deadly Electric Centibird, previously known as "amphibious carnivore" I think (flora and fauna are randomly generated).
Indiginous to our planet and really impeding construction of a town.
Appears to hunt in loosely-organized packs (two or three seem to spawn at once, they don't always all come for you) and are quite fast. The only escape is to be able to fly.
We also seem to have green electric bats that are sometimes hostile, but they seem too clumsy and timid to be a real threat.

The creature known as the Titan. It is at least five times taller than a dwarf (taller when it rears up to attack), 10 times as long (basically some sort of centipede), faster, tougher, much much stronger. Highly aggressive, will even ignore nearby food to attack another living thing. It is also the most common creature around the struggling capital of Goldleaf and single specimens have been responsible for over six deaths in a row.

A nice juicy convoy of escortless merchants is spotted on the horizon. I order my men to battle stations, intending to get them with my deck gun. They started to perform evasive manuvers, which would have helped had I intended to hit them with torpedos. Unfortunatly, it seemed to be a ruse by them, because when I got between the ships, intending to rip holes in their hulls, they all revealed themselves to have deck guns, and ripped my ship to shreds.

Ah, the infamous Q-Ships. Many a submarine has been sunk by them. Mind you I think that they were supposed to have a squadron of destroyers in support, but meh.

Yeah, sounds like a Q-ship. Dunno where that term comes from, but it means a fake freighter designed to lure in and broadside/etc. pirates, privateers, etc. attacking shipping.

Trying a new build out (staves, dual-wield, master of arms, fungal arts, viking magic, astrology, blood mage). Was going fairly well til floor 7 when a quest boss hit me with the ole' counter-crit-crit for 80 damage in 1 turn. Then I died. Shame, too, tossing melee-fueled lightning bolts was lots of fun while it lasted.

I was trying to deactivate some traps in a trap nest. Stepped on a shotgun trap once, torso got shot, kevlar vest saved my life. Next few times, I step on two shotgun traps and a crossbow trap, and all shots got me in my unarmored right leg, and I was in Excruciating Pain! A giant ant happened to be near me, and as I took some oxycodone before attempting to run off in my truck, said ant mauled me to death in my seat.

Ugh. Stupid giant insects D:<

I arrived in Shirama at sunset to kill Titong the red ninja. Everything was quiet... too quiet. After killing some peasents and guardsmen I found Titong, but luck wasn't on my side because I didn't found enough health-potions and he squashed my head like a grape. Maybe next time.

Titans. Laser-shooting deer. Giant red things that will casually swat you before walking away. I love the game, but this wildlife fills me with rage. Especially those spawn-camping titans. 10 back-to-back deaths is quite common before the game takes mercy on me and despawns them.
