Do I get an award for holding the Zeds at arm's length for so long?

Now, tell me if I'm wrong, but the two Zeds on my right are going to walk into the flame, right? In that case: Run west and ready the chaingun to fire due east.

You get a shiny platinum award!  Unfortunately it's not canon.
They did indeed walk into the flame.

There's still the cold blooded one in the east, remember? watch out for it.

Nope, it was in the chaingun zone so it died.  Because it (me) was stupid and didn't avoid it.

Commons will always travel diagonally first, right?

That's right.

(Something came up and I nearly forgot about the enemy turn, haha.)
Definitely the home stretch here.  I'm eager to start the proper, less chaotic, version.  But I also don't want to rush it, it'll be a few days at least.  After we finish I'll collect all the suggestions here for discussion.

No worries, I talk about them "avoiding" the chaingun fire so it sounds like how they avoid sniper fire, but it's actually completely different.

Also: I'm going to adjust your shot to avoid hitting Archangel if necessary, of course.  It really does go without saying.

Ugh, you didn't move me where i wanted to go, i could have fired before the wall was build. anyways move to: 8,25 and flame up 7,21
would be nice if someone took out that runner for me too

Actually I got really confused and used adwarf's orders for your piece.  Your guy, the blue one, did set fire to 7,22 and killed about 7 zeds (it's hard to see because more took their place).

Ah, I finally found your turn post.  My bad.  It wasn't actually valid though anyway, the flamer makes movement take 2AP.  Another little rule that isn't even in the first post yet.
Don't worry though, they have no reason to move to 7,23, Archangel is the closest target.
