The name of this island I found in the world I just generated speaks for itself.

In the same vein, there was a cougar named Fellate in one of my worlds. Had a habit of eating young human males, if I remember correctly.

Just give the Crossbow weapon the [AMMO:CROSSBOW] tag in the raws. You can make a crossbow that shoots crossbows.

Hehe the Boat of Rubbing made me think of the catholic boat  ;D What have your Urist been watching?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3NbXftMm0A

I have 2 in one for the compilation, I just lost my legendary glassmaker, so I created a statue to him to adorn the trade depot room, I was not displeased with the result;

This is a green glass statue of Ast Hammerface
The item is an image of Ast Hammerface the dwarf and Nastycat the Heavy Flames the perfect green glass gem in green glass by Thikut Mishimkeskal. Ast Hammerface is raising Nastycat the Heavy Flames. The artwork relates to the creation of Nastycat the Heavy flames in Morallance by the dwarf Ast Hammerface in the late autumn of 224.

Haha yeah I laughed when I got "the boat of rubbing" too. That's a great statue, kinda cute too

I'm not sure it belongs here, but I recently found a book on the subject "Why wedge is effective".

You know, now how to use it or effective for what. Just effective, period.

Is Edi the most fun you can have without taking off your pants?

I'm quite fond of a book in my library - Bunion: The Past Mourns, which is a 209 page novel with no particular subject and not very good prose.
(We also have a goblin parchment scroll titled "Honor" - not sure who I bought that off of, but it seems a reasonable confluence of material and subject)

I can also offer a pair of artefact raw adamantine instruments - Depressionscribe the Ferocious Misery, and The Scandalous Violence, which were certainly inspiring in their creation. And currently winning the fortress award for on the nose description, an artefact goblet featuring on one side, the creation of a masterful slate mug and on the other side, the death of one of my nobles via dehydration. Oh, and an image of a blood man in sheep wool.

In a fortress now lost to the sea thanks to a minor mishap with a stuck floodgate, I had a dwarf named Dastot Keysmash, who I had great hopes of as a manager.

The symbol I picked out for my latest volcano embark:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

On an unrelated note, I'm going to have to see if I can name a fortress "Evitable," so that I can say that anything that happened in it "was in evitable."

Customizeable symbols has taken this to a whole new level. My group, the Just Stop, has an annoyed unicorn as its symbol. (Settled in a good plains to train war unicorns.)
