So I have an extension cord out to my shed.
I have just bought a bunson burner and a toaster oven and lamp.
I want to install the three and run them, preferably not all at once, buuuuut.....
How to I gauge the cord's ability to support mah watts.

Turn up the juice until cord melts, then record the wattage/voltage/amperage/whateverage. Buy an identical replacement cord.

What easily eats more watts is the toaster. Plug it in and set it on the lower power. See if the cable get hot. Repeat with ever increasing settings. If the lightbulb is LED you should not worry. The bunson burner I guess is a electric start up? That doesn't add up much either.

Well, a Bunsen burner is specifically run off of gas. There are electrothermal "electric Bunsen burners" by marketing convention, but nobody in the lay community has any need for them and they're stupidly expensive anyway. I've never seen one with a spark plug that needs mains power, either.

I'm not just being pedantic; the power load will depend on what it actually is.

So, Firefox is being a little shit today, declaring that uBlock Origin (an ad blocker) and NoScript are "unsupported", disabling them entirely.
Alright, I'll go and reinstall those addons...

FUCK. Ok, maybe I can open the download link in a new tab, maybe that might get me somewhere.

The fuck? addons.mozilla.org is in the whitelist of addon installation! What does it want now?! WHERE'S THE 'INSTALL ANYWAY' BUTTON!?
EDIT: Seems to be an ongoing issue. Here's the Bugzilla report for this issue, "All extensions disabled due to expiration of intermediate signing cert"
