I watched a special about Shaolin monks and their martial arts, and one of the teachers there was talking about the rope dart and how it was one of the most difficult weapons to learn how to thrust with.

Qi was of course involved. I have no idea how high he was. Probably around 1300 meters or something.

Was playing the demo of Tomodachi Life. Annoyingly, you have to give your Miis not only a name, but a last name, and a bunch of other information, which it also broadcasts to other players who might be visited by that Mii. On the other hand, the synthetic voices the game uses, which sound a lot like the voices from Animal Crossing, somehow managed to say my own last name correctly. I've rarely met an actual person who gets that right, let alone a software voice.

I'm also trying to figure out why it was advertised to me(and the demo link placed in my 3DS's home menu) as a new release when it was released over 4 years ago.

They just say all the letters in their voice, don't they?
Tomodachi actually tries to pronounce the words, which can lead to hilarity at times.

Yeah, I was just watching a GDC Keynote speech by Will Wright (from the time Sims 1 just came out) and he made a similar point. The Sims talk gibberish because they realized that if they talked English you'd notice how repetitive and/or constructed the conversations were. Unintelligible word-like mush feels less repetitive.
